Land for our home sites is generally owned by our customers, but may be selected with company guidance. House plans can be provided by the customer, architect, or by Hubbard Construction. As a general contractor, the company employs up to 16 full-time carpenters who are involved in all phases of construction. Hubbard Construction also employs the services of select subcontractors who are specialists in their particular trade. Through close attention to scheduling, the company is able to work at full capacity on a year-round basis. Construction contracts are negotiated and include comprehensive consultations and services to the Owners, as opposed to a more traditional approach (competitive bid/ limited services). Despite this commitment to superior construction and services, the company has an acknowledged track record for competitive pricing in bid situations. Extensive computerized historical cost data ensures accurate pricing. Overhead and profit margins are kept low through computer cost controls and a relatively high volume of construction.
